I need your help to fund decent work organizing!
This year, I'm participating in the Workers' Bowl again - an annual charity event run collaboratively by the Ontario Employment Education & Research Centre (OEERC) and the Workers’ Action Centre.
So many of you have been so generous in the past. Will you consider donating this year? All funds raised will directly benefit precarious workers through:
- Training: funding the annual training program run by the Workers' Action Centre
- Senior Leader Program: funding the work of these workers as they develop skills in community outreach, public education, and rights in the workplace
- Education: ESL classes that focus on workplace rights language
- Organizing: infiltrating our communities through media, outreach, and online programs
All of this is done in Mandarin, Bengali, Punjabi, Somali, Spanish, and Tamil. Can you believe it?!
